Thank you for your interest in applying to be a volunteer on the Camp Fusion Staff!
WHAT WILL I BE DOING? Camp Staff members will be placed on committees that plan and execute various aspects of Camp Fusion. In the past, all high schoolers at Summer Camp served as counselors. This year, serving a counselor (small group leader) is one of the options for the committees. Other committee options include skits, testimonies/presentations, games, prayer, band, etc…
HOW DO I APPLY? HS youth who desire to serve on the Camp Staff need to fill out an online application (below) and attend an interview. Camp Staff members will be expected to have full commitment to the entire week. Previous experience may be considered but is not required. All applications must be completed by the April 23rd deadline.
HS Teens serving on the Camp Staff may use this experience for service hours (excluding overnight hours during the lock-in portion)
In order to be considered for a Camp Staff position, you must:
Have a desire to selflessly serve middle school youth.
Be a student entering 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th grade or college freshmen for the 2019-20 school year
Be an active member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church or another Catholic Church
Complete the online application (below) by April 23rd.
Be available for an interview for this position with a youth minister the week of April 29th-May 3rd.
Be available to attend the entire week (July 14-19)
Be available to attend the informational meeting on May 9th.
Senior Staff Positions: Those who have two or more years of experience as a counselor at Summer Camp have an opportunity to be a Senior Staff member. A Senior Staff member will lead a committee of their peers at camp. For example, a senior staff member will lead the skit team.
