“A candidate for Confirmation...must profess the faith...and be prepared to assume the role of disciple and witness to Christ, both within the ecclesial community and in temporal affairs.”
We are called to be Missionary Disciples for one another! A teen should strive for at least 10-15 hours of service during the Confirmation year, starting after their Orientation night. The desire is that each teen will participate in a variety of activities that reflect their gifts and talents. It is our hope that these activities will begin to set the pattern for a lifetime of Christian service towards our brothers and sisters in both the local and global communities. Candidates are encouraged to reflect prayerfully with their parents and/or Sponsor on the opportunities available and to participate with an open and joyful spirit.
Teens (and parents) are required to locate their own Discipleship Opportunities (service projects), participate and keep track of logging where/what /how many hours. Please submit your experiences by March 25th using the form at the bottom of this page.
